For the signing-impaired, the above clip recounts how a young Native American earned his first feather. His father has ordered him to hunt down a bison, slay it, and bring the body to the tribe in order to be one of them. Only the first half of the story is shown.

The clip below, Virus vs. Vaccine, grew out of Manny's interest in conveying complex scientific concepts into easily-understandable ASL. Here, Manny pretends to be a researcher/scientist who explains why it can be difficult to develop a vaccine against certain viruses. Because this clip is 6.1 MB in size, those without a broadband connection to the Internet may become frustrated with its downloading speed.

And of course, to see the many faces of Manny ASL, click here (2.4 MB)! It's purely fun.

We plan to add more clips in the near future, so please check back here from time to time. Thanks!

A special note to iPod video users

For those of you who'd like to watch Manny's videos on your nifty iPod, you're certainly welcome to download these two clips. Add them to your iTunes library, and be sure that it's listed in the Videos portion of your iTunes for uploading to your iPod. (These files are in the .m4v format, which will play in your iTunes or on your iPod.)
